“ Wayne's Eats - Local South Wales Food Blogger (Instagram/Facebook Review) There is one restaurant that I keep returning to, year after year and a restaurant that has never let me down @themineneathtown That's right party people I am talking about the one and only The Mine, on this particular visit I am at the Neath Town restaurant Today's Menu: Rustic Meatballs Beef Meatballs cooked in rich tomato passata. Crispy Battered Sardines Sardines battered until golden and crispy, served with a garlic and herb sauce. The Pizza Burger Two giant beef patties, layers of melted cheese, spicy pepperoni, Parma ham, tomato passata, brioche bun and served with fries. The Beef Cob Giant fluffy cob roll filled with chive mash and and slow cooked beef, cooked in rich beef gravy and served with triple cooked chips. Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake Mint Aero Brownie Review: As I said at the start I've got a long history with this business and I can honestly say this is one of my favourite restaurants, it's the sort of food that made me want to become a Food Blogger in the first place! Every dish is bloody incredible! I don't know why I ordered starters as I knew our mains were gonna be massive but they just looked so good though, the Rustic Meatballs in particular were delicious Our mains were just insane...I opted for the Pizza Burger and this is as amazing as it sounds, it was a big beefy, cheesy and messy burger that ticked all the boxes! Although my burger was incredible, Hayley decided on the Beef Cob and well this was just out of this world good! This was the winner of the night! Super tender beef cooked with a rich gravy in a fluffy cob filled with chive mash. It was ridiculously good! No surprise here, as always highly recommended ”

“ This place was outstanding, there was nothing i could find fault with. Staff were welcoming, friendly and assertive. Food!! Well best meal iv had in a very long time absolutely beautiful. Drinks were great, good quality beer and cocktails. And top off our visit we had the bill and what a surprise that was, wasn’t excepting that, fantastic value for money. Most definitely will be back and recommending this place to all our friends and family. ”

“ We had a really nice experience here, the team managed to fit us in late on a Sunday when they had a party of 20. We had a lovely seat by the window! We had the set menu, which included olive and meatball starter, tikka loaded fries and salt and pepper chicken main, with chocolate cheesecake for dessert. They were all really, really tasty - I loved the salt and pepper chicken. Big portions for the price too, real good value. We were served quickly, staff were lovely and the best part - Pepsi max on tap Definitely recommend, will be going back! 15.99pp for 3 courses I think it was 12.99pp for 2 courses ”

“ Well, where do I start... just go there, lol... food was amazing. Each course was tasty and value for money. We went as a mother and daughters birthday Meal... Staff were lovely and kept checking on on us for drinks and how was the food, it was timed lovely and not over zealous.. I wanted to make it to desserts, so I brought home half my main... we choose from the lunchtime offer and I thought oh the portions are going to be small... nope, they were full portions, and my eyes are bigger than my belly... Love the deco it's all about the coal mines and they do bring food out on shovels if you ask. Baby spade spoons, which I had to stop my daughter from pocketing, went on amazon and ordered her some... (she wouldn't have taken one). They also sell Tapas so that's my next review and I have experienced the best Tapas in the world so look out The Mine Neath.. I'm coming back. ”

“ Wow best food we have had in a long time. The 20 oz steak was huge and cooked to perfection and only 23. The 50/50 was lovely and had to take some home. I would highly recommend but wouldn't have starters again as the meals are huge. Will definitely be back and be aware you have to book a table. And we went on a Wednesday night and KIDS EAT FREE ”
